Finally, after the long-awaited Season 8: Belial’s Return is set to officially launch on Tuesday, April 29, at 10:00 AM PST. Based on current leaks, this season will bring up a variety of exciting new content and gameplay mechanics, making it one of the most anticipated updates for Diablo 4. New World Event: Apparition Incursions
A brand-new world event will debut in Season 8. Players will face three rotating bosses out of a total of ten. You’ll gain a unique Boss Power that enhances your abilities, while defeating each boss.
New Boss Encounters
Season 8 introduces multiple new bosses, some of then are returning from previous Diablo games and expansions:
Urivar & Harbinger of Hatred – Have been seen in Season 6 and the Vessel of Hatred campaign, now they are back as lower-difficulty Lair Bosses.
Belial, Lord of Lies – From Diablo 3, now making his debut in Diablo 4 in 2 forms as the most formidable boss.
New Seasonal Mechanic: Boss Powers
Season 8 features an innovative Boss Power system. This season will have 24 bosses in total, each offering a unique power upon defeat. Players can collect and equip up to four Boss Powers at a time, consisting of one main power and three modifiers, allowing for new strategic possibilities.
Boss Summoning System Update
Summoning bosses has been completely revamped in Season 8:
No summoning materials are required during the boss fight. This means players can freely test their DPS through boss fight.
Materials are only required after a successful kill—players must spend their materials to claim boss rewards.
In party play, each player must individually spent their materials to receive their own rewards. Also now you cold teleport to your teammate through the social page & you could teleport to the boss through map directly.
